Pablo Neruda was born in 1904 in Chile.His first book, a collection of poems called Crepusculario (Book of Twilights), was published in 1923, followed by Veinte Poemas de Amor y una Canción Desesperada (Twenty Love Poems and a Desperate Song) the next year.
